I Lured a Homeless Woman to My House, Hoping to Fuck Her

I (M43) did this almost 10 years ago, and its something I've never told anyone before. I'm not proud of what I did, and I can't really say why I did it other than I was bored and looking for something thrilling and stupid. I was not in any kind of financial trouble and had a decent job, it was just a fucked up thing to do that was a mistake now that I look back on it, and I regret it. I've never done it since and will never do it again, and if I saw myself acting this way now, I'd be disgusted with myself.

One day I put up an ad on Craigslist in the "jobs" section, looking for someone to clean my house. It was totally fake, I knew that if I put up an ad looking for a "girlfriend" I'd just get spammed or someone trying to quid pro quo with me. So I put up a fairly standard job ad: $15/hr, 5-6 hours of work, light housekeeping, laundry, some dishes, sweeping and mopping. I said I was looking for "anyone" which was a lie.

The first few responses were from men, so I politely turned them down and said I'd found someone. Then a young girl (probably 20's?) emailed me. She said she was living in her car with her infant daughter, and was "desperate" for the work.

I exchanged a few messages with her, asking her if she was sure she'd be OK with housekeeping, because I thought it "might be too hard" for someone living out of her car, and she insisted she was fine.

I gave her my address, and told her I'd see her at 9:00 the next morning.

The next morning rolls around, and I hear a knock at the door. Its 9:04, and I figure its her, and I open it to find a woman who looks like she might be in her 40's or 50's. She had long, straight grey hair that was stained and matted, and wore a leather jacket covered in patches and a few tears here and there. She looked like she'd been on the streets for a long time. She kind of reminded me of Iggy Pop.

She didn't make eye contact with me, but told me that she was here for the job and that she was "Diane". I tried to hide my reaction to seeing a homeless woman at my door, and told her that she looked young enough to be my daughter, so I guess I was now an old man. I let her in the house, and showed her to the kitchen where I told her I'd leave the money on the counter and she could call me at work when she was done.

Then I left for work.

When I got home that evening, the house was spotless. The floors were clean, the counters and sinks were clean, and all the laundry was done and folded. There was also $40 missing from my drawer, which I had kind of expected. I figured she deserved it, and even considered leaving it out for her thinking she'd take it.

The next morning, I got an email from "Diane" (who I suspected was not really the girl I had emailed the day before) thanking me for the job, and asking if I needed any more work done. I told her I didn't, but I appreciated the offer.

For about a month, she sent me a few emails a week asking if I needed any help, and if I could find more work for her. I felt bad and didn't know what to say to her, I didn't want to be mean, so I kept politely telling her I didn't need anything and I'd call her if I did.

I never heard from her again, and its possible she's not even alive anymore.

Like I said, I'm not proud of what I did, and in hindsight I should have just given her the $90 if I was going to do that. Its better than trying to get her into my bed.
