I’m an ER Doctor. I have some bad news regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

Every night, I keep having the same dream, in which I am wearing complete PPE inside the hospital. The people and patients inside this dream can’t seem to notice that I’m wearing a mask inside the hospital – in fact, no one in the dream seems to be wearing masks, even the sick patients who are obviously infected. When I ask them about it, they just look at me like I’m an idiot. It’s a very strange and unsettling dream but I can’t seem to stop having it, no matter how hard I try. That’s about it.
