I'm a search and rescue diver and the ocean is fucking scary

The ocean is fucking scary and I can’t get this out of my head. <br><br><br>I’ve been an “SAR” diver for 5 years now and have recovered a lot of bodies. <br><br>Most of the time we find them dead in the water, sometimes we can locate them in the wreckage of a car. <br><br><br>A lot of times they are decomposed beyond recognition and a DNA test is required to determine who it is. <br><br><br>I have seen a lot of gnarly shit in the ocean. <br><br><br>What really got to me was when I was in training and they showed all the pictures of all the people we couldn’t locate. <br><br><br>Their friends and families still have hope that they’re out there somewhere. <br><br><br>I can’t get this out of my head because I know that they’re at the bottom of the ocean. <br><br><br>I wish I didn’t have to think about this. <br><br><br>The ocean is fucking scary.
