I tricked my parents into spending extra on a trip to Spain.

When I was a teenager, I did a trip to Spain with the school. We didn’t do much “school” stuff and it wasn’t really that cheap.<br><br>I figured out that my parents were the least well off in the group, so I started a rumour that the teachers wanted everyone to give a little extra money because the original price was less than they were getting and that parents shouldn’t know because they don’t want to make them pay extra. I even went as far as telling them how much extra everyone was giving because I knew they’d be afraid of being the only ones that wouldn’t give the extra and it would look like they were cheap.<br><br>I got an extra €200 out of them because of it.
