When drinking a cold soda, place the soda in the freezer for 30 minutes prior to opening it to prevent the soda from gassing out in a couple of hours.

When you place a soda in the freezer for 30 minutes, the soda gets cold faster, and stays cold longer, whilst the carbonation levels stay consistent.<br><br>This may not be true for everyone depending on your environment.<br><br>I tested this with 2 bottles of soda, one i placed in the fridge, and the other I placed in the freezer for 30 minutes. The bottle I placed in the freezer stayed cold for more than an hour longer than the one placed in the fridge, and stayed carbonated as well.<br><br>Edit: For those wondering what soda i used, it was standard Pepsi.
