I laced my braid in college with thumbtacks

This is so absolutely ridiculous but it just popped into my head randomly so I thought I'd share. <br><br>When I was in college, I had already gone through my "I'll put anything in my ears" phase, and my "I'll (sort of) drill a hole in my nose" phase, so I decided to try something new. I braided my hair once with thumbtacks woven into the braid. <br><br>It was a regular three strand braid, except every six or seven strands, I'd weave a thumbtack into the braid, pointy side down, so you could see just the "head" of the tack. I remember it being really hard to sleep because it was really uncomfortable. <br><br>I don't remember how long it lasted, but I think it was just overnight because it hurt so bad, I ended up taking it out. <br><br>This is so random, I know, but thought it would be a funny story to tell since it literally just popped into my head out of nowhere.<br><br>Edit: since a few folks have asked, I don’t have any photos, sadly, and I had short hair so it wasn’t a long braid. It was small, maybe six inches at most.
