Lately, I keep thinking that the majority of the population are just NPCs.

I work in a fast food restaurant as a cook. Everyday the same people walk in and say the same lines, everyday I see the same faces just wandering down town and they never change their routine. <br><br>My sister and I were discussing how to deal with anxiety attacks at work and she said "just go to the bathroom and cry in the stall". I told her that if I dont stop shaking and come back with a smile they'll think somethings wrong and the managers will track me down. She said she does this too. <br><br>My boyfriend has literally played the same video game for years and has never moved past the same stage and he's okay with that. <br><br>This may seem like very childish to think that I'm special and everyone else is just background characters. But I cant help but feel like I'm weird for wanting more out of life and I want to escape the mundane routine that I have been following. <br><br>Sorry for the long post. <br><br>Edit: thanks guys, it's nice to know I'm not the only one.
