If you're rural, "going into town" is a 30 minute drive. If you're a townie, it's a 30 minute walk. If you're a city person, it's a 30 minute subway ride. We all live in different worlds.

This occurred to me as I compared my 15 mile drive to work each day to my friends 1.5 mile walk to work.
