LPT: If you have a lot of books and plans on moving, leave the books behind and re-buy them after moving.

One of my biggest regret in life is moving a lot of heavy boxes of books. It takes a lot of space in your condo or house, so you have to sacrifice other spaces for your stuff and sink up a lot of space in your car to move it around. You could sell the books, but a lot of times you can't get anything for it. Why don't you just put it in a plastic bag and throw it away. You could just buy a copy of the book if you want to read it in the future. I understand that buying books for some people are a way of owning the book, but it doesn't make sense. You could argue that you could buy a lot of books and it may be more expensive, but if you own a lot of books, you won't even have time to read all of it.
