I ride around in a 1 ton death machine almost 10 times faster and 3 times closer to other 1 ton death machines going the same speed as me and in the OPPOSITE DIRECTION that is being steered by a stranger who is trying to get somewhere. If that's not "flying", I don't know what is!<br><br>Edit:<br><br>I think there's a common misconception here. I'm not trying to make anyone feel unsafe. I'm just trying to make the case that I think driving in a car is as much like flying as it will ever be for a human. In my opinion, all the ingredients required to be flying are there, they're just not as exaggerated as they are for, say, commercial air travel. If we ever have a time where "flying" is as reliable and common as driving a car, I think we'll then know what flying is really like. But right now, I don't think we really do.
