I stole your prescription

I used to work at a pharmacy. I had a boss who was a hard dick and always on my case. I had a coworker who got fired for stealing drugs and I was a witness to it. Our job was to bring the electronic prescription bags over to the pharmacist. They would all sit on a shelf and each shelf was assigned to a specific pharmacist and we would throw the correct ones on top of each other on a shelf. One day my coworker from my story mixed two bags together and took some drugs and put them in his pocket. I walked in on it as he was doing it. I told him that if he got caught I would rat him out and he said he didn’t care. He got fired that day. After that I had the idea to pass the drugs I stole to the pharmacist, I would change his bag and he would assume it was the patient or the doctor. I stole over 10k dollars worth of drugs (mostly pain killers) and was never caught. I sold them for over 50k. I wish I could tell the pharmacist I was the one but I’m sure I would be sued. I’m not the type to steal or even care about my coworkers but I felt like it was owed to me. The store was very badly ran and I believe the district manager would have covered it up if he found out.
