My wife, a medical student, thought it would be a good opportunity for extra credit if she brought our 5 year old brother home to practice surgeries on. She went behind my parents backs, and by the time I got home from school he was dead and she was gone. It's been 11 days.

Update: I didn't want to make a separate update post. I called 911 an hour ago, and the cops just left not too long ago. They were able to track her phone location, and they're going to send out a search party in the morning. They say she's in a state park about three hours away, but they think she's been there the whole time.
I go back to school tomorrow, thank god, and they said they'll contact my parents sometime tomorrow if they find anything.
One of the cops stayed behind for a while and we talked. He said they think she's alive and safe, but he also said that she might be dangerous. He said the most common profile for medical students to turn violent is a highly functioning female with a history of mental illness and a large emotional event recently. Lately I've started wondering if that's the case with my sister. He also said they've never actually had a situation like this, so they're not sure how she'll act, but they say they think she'll go down without a fight.
