I stole a girl’s glasses

I did it in 8th grade. I was hanging out with this girl and another guy and I noticed she had a pretty expensive looking pair of glasses. I took them when she wasn’t looking and immediately got anxious when I did it. I had never stolen anything like that before. It’s been eating at me ever since. It was a dumb thing to do and I wish I could undo it. It’s been really hard to deal with lately because sometimes I’ll get anxious and suddenly it hits me again. I still wonder if she got a new pair and if they were covered by insurance or not. I want to say sorry but what the hell am I supposed to do? I don’t even live in the same state anymore and I feel embarrassed every time I think about it. Just wanted to get it off my chest.
