I stole a dress from a wedding because I was the flower girl and I liked it and the other flower girl was more liked than me

I (13f at the time) was a flower girl for one of my dads sisters and I was the only girl for my cousins wedding but this other girl got the part of being the flower girl and I was jealous because in my family I wasn't liked very much and everyone always wanted me to be more like this girl so when I heard she was going to be the flower girl I was mad.<br><br>The day of the wedding came and I had to help with all the decorations but once everyone went inside I hid in the car this girl had her flower girl dress in and took it and left. I ran to my dads car and left and this girl was crying she didn't have a dress for the wedding and she didn't have another dress so she had to wear what she had on underneath which was shorts and a t-shirt.<br><br>I wore the dress on Sunday at church and couldn't stop smiling I felt like I had won because this dress was so pretty it was white and it went down to your ankles and had flowers on the dress I felt so pretty and everyone loved the dress and I felt like I won because I was liked that day and people were paying me attention.<br><br>I still have the dress and I'm 40 now and can't believe I did this.
