I stole my mom's car and used it to rob a gas station

Please note I was 16 at the time and this was over 25 years ago. I was serving a lot of time for other shit I did (lots and lots of burglary) and am the epitome of a bad kid that turned himself around. <br><br>I was an asshole teenager and probably needed the 7 years I did. I'm very fortunate to have made it out with my life.<br><br>When I was 16, I used to steal my mom's car to get around. I'd do everything to get by on the least amount of gas so I could keep taking the car. One night, I decided to rob a gas station. I parked her car down the block, went in with a stocking over my face, waved the gun around and demanded cash. I didn't have a real gun. It was a bb gun pistol that looked real. <br><br>I took the money, ran to the car and took off like an asshole. I got away and a month later I was arrested for everything else I did. I never told the cops or my mom about that because I really didn't want to make my situation worse. That was by far the stupidest and most reckless thing I ever did.<br><br>I've been wanting to tell that story for years but didn't want people to know who I am.
