I stole hundreds of dollars in food from a bowling alley

When I was about 17 I got a job working in a bowling alley's kitchen. It was a pretty cool job except the managers were incredibly shady. For the first few months I worked there I didn't get paid a single penny (they were giving me lies about paperwork and shit) and I still showed up to work high and never missed a day.

Eventually they started paying me but one day they didn't pay me my wages again and I was so fed up with their bullshit that I just went behind the counter and made myself some food and left with it without giving them any money.

They called me up yelling at me asking if I had left with food and didn't pay for it and I was honest and told them "yeah I didn't get paid again so I made myself some food and left" and they told me I couldn't come back to work ever again so fuck them.

For the next year my brother and I would go in all the time and order food and drinks and just walk out without paying and nobody ever stopped us. We would also order food to go for ourselves and others and just walk out with it.

I guess what I'm saying is don't screw your employees out of their pay or they will haunt you for the rest of your business' days.
