I soaked my toothbrush in warm water, then I put it in a plastic bag and closed it up with one of those twist seal things. It was so simple to do but I think the lifehack of it (is it a lifehack?) might not be so obvious.
Next time you’re sick and you won’t be home for a day or two, give it a shot! Bring it in your lunchbox or your backpack. It works!

Edit 1: I never meant this as an “always” thing. My GF gets sick a lot, so this helps her feel protected.
Edit 2: Thank you for the awards! I’m happy everyone likes the tip and I appreciate the kind words and personal stories.
Edit 3: I think 2 people got Covid from sharing toothpaste, and one person had a kid with toothpaste engineered by science.
Edit 4: This might not be an official lifehack since I didn’t invent it. It’s just something I threw together, it works, and I wanted to share. Maybe it’s just a tip?
Edit 5: Just re-read this post, and then re-read the comments. If you want advice on toothpaste and toothbrushes, you’re in luck.
Edit 6: Thank you kind stranger for the Platinum Award. I know they aren’t cheap.
Edit 7: Thank you everyone for the continued upvotes and awards over the past week or so. It’s been a great experience!
