After the funeral, we had to gut the house my father lived in for the last five years of his life. That was when we found the basement.

To the people who asked for more info, I am not comfortable with giving out my family’s location, I love them and, I don’t want them to get harassed. This is a real thing that happened, and I just decided to put it in this sub to spread awareness of the issue of senior abuse, my father had a lot of medical problems and was being cared for by a guy who had been working for him for a few years. I am almost positive the caregiver did this to him. This was my dad’s main caregiver and he gave him a lot of power of attorney in things like buying and selling his properties/my properties (my dad was a realtor). Looking back on this, I am not sure why my dad decided to hire a guy with no experience and a criminal background to take care of him, I think the guy gaslighted him into doing it, but who knows, not sure if it would even be worth it to report the guy to the police as it is just speculation at this point. Let’s just say I have put all the property and money in my mother’s name and have gotten a restraining order against the caregiver. <br><br>“But what was in the basement?”- A lot of you have been asking, well I have a good idea of what was down there, my grandad who passed away before I was born was a very strange man. He was very wealthy and was known to have made a lot of money off of shady business and he was very into the occult. He owned the house my dad was in and it was built on land he owned with a small, private cemetary, he was a very strange man and my family didn’t really want to mention him very much. From what I can tell, my dad had been using this basement to do the same things my grandad was doing and it was pretty clear it was the same as the stuff my grandad was doing. I am not gonna go too much into this because I do not want to DOXX myself, but basically the basement was some sort of (animal) sacrifice altar and there was a lot of graffiti on the walls, and a lot of occult symbols were carved into the walls, and there was a lot of small animal skeletons in the back part of the room and a lot of weird stuff like that. That’s really it, I am not gonna go too much into detail because it just really makes me uncomfortable thinking about it, and my dad was a victim in this whole thing. So that’s it, that’s what was in the basement.<br><br>This is a real thing that happened, and I was not expecting it to blow up like it did, so thank you for the support and thank you for believing me, you guys are awesome :)
