I always wanted to be an astronaut but now I probably can’t due to hearing loss

This is a wee bit of a sad confession.<br>I’ve always wanted to be an astronaut since I was little. I’m 15 now. I’ve recently taken an online hearing test which has found slight hearing loss in both of my ears. I really don’t want this hearing loss to stop me from being an astronaut so I’ve been doing some research.<br>Apparently, Astronauts are meant to have perfect vision and perfect hearing and I’m not sure if hearing aids would be aloud in that field.<br>I’ve also found out that my hearing loss is not caused by loud noises but instead by something called Hyperacusis which is something I think I’ve had for most of my life and not really felt any symptoms apart from some ringing.<br>I really hope that I can still become an astronaut and I pray this will not stop me.
