I'm a sexual health nurse and I watched a video that still freaks me out to this day

I was a student in nursing school and volunteering for sexual health screening clinics in the community (I’m in the US, but same concept as صحة).

I usually worked with one of the doctors doing the screening of female patients. When I watched that video, I was working with my preceptor. We took a history and did the pelvic exam.

We usually did a wet prep under the microscope to look for discharge and infections, and when my preceptor did the pelvic exam, he asked me to look at the microscope (something we always did together - patient, resident, etc).

I looked in the microscope but didn’t see anything out of the ordinary… until I looked up and saw the patient’s face. It was distorted in a way that I’m not sure I can describe - like the eyes were too far apart and her eyes were not even looking at us. She didn’t say anything, but she didn’t look… normal.

I still get chills thinking about it.

Edit: for some reason I am getting a lot of comments about how this isn’t scary… I’m sorry if I did not meet your threshold for scary. I posted it because it freaked me out and it’s stuck with me for years.
