Men, you are not women's adversaries. If you believe you are, you are wrong. Show this post to whomever is influencing you to believe this, and tell them it's bullshit.
You can be wrong and still be a good person. Being wrong and double-downing because you don't want to be seen as less of a man is so fucking stupid. And ah, it sure is making life more difficult for women. It's also making life harder for YOU because it gives the impression you're an unchangeable, angry, stubborn bullshit artist. Lastly, it's 100% making life harder for those around you, who now have to tolerate your shitty "no splendid abs" behavior.
So, grow up, be a fucking man and own up to your mistakes, and everyone's lives will be better for it.

EDIT:
To the good number of people here that are asking why feminist women are the focus. I believe feminist women more often speak out against sexism than non-feminist women, so as a result, they're often at the forefront of discussions regarding sexism and therefore more noticed (anddropIfExists resented) by sexist men.
To the people saying "not all men," well, yeah, no... not all men. It's crazy for anyone to think that every man is like this. There are definitely a lot, though. I've personally encountered many in my life, and it was those encounters that inspired this post.
To the people saying that feminism is misandrist, that's 100% not true. I've researched the topic quite heavily. There are some individuals and small groups who are misandrists and claim feminism, but that doesn't make feminism itself misandrist. It's like saying Christianity, Muslimism, or Buddhism are hateful religions because there are some Christians, Muslims, and Buddhists that have done hateful things.
