I stole thousands of dollars in cash from customers and spent it on dumb shit.

I work in a high end steak house and when credit card transactions are finished some slips print with the customer's full credit card number. I collect those and use them to buy dumb shit online. I don't know if this is the correct chamber to post this confession but I need to let it out of my system. I have spent well over 10,000 dollars of other people's money and put myself in a huge amount of debt. I don't know how I haven't been caught but I know it's a matter of time before I am.

Edit: For the people asking why I wasn't caught:

1. I don't steal often, normally once or twice a week and always for small amounts.

2. I always have a good reason for the customer's card being in my possession.

3. I give everyone a reason to like me, I want to make sure that my customers would never think ill of me.

4. When I steal from each customer, I always make sure to wait several weeks or even months before doing it again to the same customer. I also always have a reason to email them (with a fake email address) about something like sending them pictures of their party or setting up a future reservation.

5. I have been doing this for about 4 years and no one has ever really complained about missing money. It may be because I always take amounts that are easy to overlook.

6. I always spend the money quickly and pay off the entire bill each month. I also always pay a little bit extra than the minimum payment amount to avoid any suspicion from credit agencies.

7. I do always feel bad about it and would never do any of my regular customers but I really don't care about people I don't know and think are wealthy. Also the fact that I can get away with it so easily has become addicting.
