I got myself to the ER by leaving the house, walking to a gas station, begging a stranger to drive me to the ER, and they only agreed if I got in the backseat of the car so I did it and survived and my life is a weird ride

There is so much context that I won’t go into details but I just had a huge crying episode for the past day, and the pain was unbearable and I knew I had to go to an ER nearby. <br><br>I crawled out of my home, and there is a gas station nearby. I asked the gas station attendant if he could call 911 but he didn’t want to, so I asked that I could. He gave me the phone and a phone directory but I couldn’t find the 911 number. I was crying so hard but I knew I had to do something. <br><br>I didn’t know what to do so I stood in front of the entrance (the gas station was closed but I crawled my way to the entrance and waited for the attendant to let me in) to the gas station and I asked multiple people if they could take me to the ER the city over. They either ignored me, walked away, or refused. <br><br>I didn’t know what to do. I was so scared, I had never done something like this before so I was completely out of my element. <br><br>After asking a few people to drive me, a young guy stopped in front of me and said: <br>“Why don’t you get in the fucking car if you want to go to the hospital?” <br><br>I was so disoriented that I couldn’t see anything but a car in front of me. I didn’t even see his face, I only see a car in front of me. <br><br>So I thanked him and I walked to the back of his car and got in the backseat. I looked around and there was another guy in the car, maybe his friend, in the front passenger seat. <br><br>I closed the door and told them he name of the hospital I wanted to go to. <br><br>I told him “thank you so much for driving me, I’m so sorry.” <br><br>And then I just started crying because I couldn’t handle the levels of pain I was in. <br><br>I cried in the backseat for the 20 minute drive. <br><br>We got to the hospital, and I walked out of the car and said “thank you so much!” <br><br>I walked into the hospital, and I’m so thankful that I survived this. <br><br>I didn’t die, and I’m so greatful for that. <br><br>But my life is a weird ride.
