The trick to starting a fire is to keep your lighter up to the flammable object, not the tinder. Just ask my camping trip group.

There was a girl that was in my group who was a bit of a pyromaniac, but not in a bad way. She was very good with fire and she could start one in about a minute with one match. She would just hold the match to the flammable object and then light it and that would start the fire.

We all sat around the campfire, enjoying the night and making s'mores, when I got up to go to bed. As I was walking towards my tent, I realized I forgot to pack my matches in my tent. I thought nothing of it and figured I would just go back to the campers and tell them to give me one.

As I approached the campers, I heard this sound like everyone was in a panic. I got closer and I heard a small explosion and some screams. I saw a lot of blood and a lot of fire around the fire pit. I panicked and got as far away as I could and I called 911. I didn't see any of the other people in my group. I got picked up and I went to the hospital. I never heard from anyone again.

There is one thing that I know about the situation and that is that I was smart enough to surrender my matches before the incident. I don't know what caused the fire. I don't know what happened to the rest of the group. I don't know what the cause of death of the other people is. I know nothing except that I didn't start the fire.

Edit: I wrote this in third person for some reason
