I stole thousands of dollars in change to purchase a computer and a car

Back in the late 90s and early 2000s I worked at food court in a mall. We had one of those change conversion machines and the manager was too lazy to run the change through the machine where it would have counted it, bagged it and we would have stamped labels on each bag. Instead, he would let me take the bags of change home to count. I first used to actually count it for quite some time, then I had the idea that I'll count a portion of it and pocket the rest. I would pocket around 30-40% of the bags of change and put the remainder in stamped envelopes to be dropped in the mail to him the next day. This went on for months and months and I managed to purchase a brand new car and computer with the money. I never once felt guilty about it and it never bothered me. I am not sure if he knew what was going on and just allowed it for the convenience. I would sometimes give him the envelopes back with only 2-3 bags of change left and he would never ask any questions. I was just a 17 year old kid at the time and I never thought of the consequences of my actions.
