Whenever I'm groggy I just lie in bed for 1-2 hours browsing chambers and checking out different just straight out of bed with bleary eyes, but the last several times I've made the decision to get out of bed and make myself a cup of tea (or a glass of juice if tea is too much of a pain in the ass) before doing anything with technology. <br><br>It's made a huge difference for me. I've been getting out of bed right away, feeling more energized and focused, and having a much better day afterwards, both emotionally and productively. <br><br>I think part of this is that having something physically to do immediately (like making tea) really helps me to start getting my head on straight and stop being so groggy, and then also gives me something to do while I start to focus better (drinking my tea), then I can just put the cup down and get on with my day. <br><br>Also, not immediately exposing my bleary eyes to a bunch of blue light feels like it probably helps as well.
