I got 4 points on my license and a $450 fine because I forgot to get my 16 year old niece a booster seat

I’m calling bs, I know that’s it. 4 points on my license, $450 fine, AND traffic school because I forgot to get my niece a booster seat, she’s 16. I recently got a new car and forgot to get a booster seat, and I’m fucking livid because of it. She’s still tall and lanky, but they make the booster seats for teenagers, and I just forgot. I had a fucking valid license for 11 years, and forgot one thing and now I’m fucked. I’m not going to pay it, I don’t have the money to pay it. I’ll just go to jail.<br><br>Edit: there is no case to fight it, I live in California, we have a law stating that all passengers under the age of 16 must be on a booster seat. My niece is 16, so she is under 18 technically, and I was told that I will keep the 4 points on my license.
