Buy a cheap pair of scissors and use them as a screwdriver or other similar things because you don't need to ruin your good pair

Seriously though, I've ruined multiple pairs of good scissors by using them to do other things and ended up breaking them, so now I just have a pair of cheap superstore scissors that I use as a screwdriver, a thing to scrape something with, something to break something apart. I even use them as a chisel sometimes. Just keep a cheap pair of scissors handy to do all the stuff you shouldn't be doing with the good pair because you don't need to ruin them too
