If you have a history of overeating, make sure you start eating before you go on a date.

This one kind of speaks for itself. However, legitimate advice is hard to come by on this sub, so I figured this might be helpful.

Edit: Fuck, I probably should have included my reasons for this.

So, this is a legitimate suggestion based on my friends experiences (as well as my own). I would almost swear im not the only person who is going to say this, but I naturally overeat a lot. This goes from eating a meal to eating snacks. The worst part is that I dont even start to realize that I am full until I have eaten double or triple what I am suppose to. I also have a history of eating when I am stressed or in unfamiliar environments.

I had a date a few weeks ago. I went to pick up my date and was unsure of whether or not to eat beforehand. I have had this issue of gut feeling bad about eating infront of people. So, I didnt eat beforehand and had to wait for a few hours before we went to eat, and I ended up eating gut wrenchingly way too much food. The worst part of it all was that I was going home and I was going to eat more.

I told my one of my friends about it and he said that he has the same kind of issues. He said that he met his wife at a fancy restaurant. I was wondering if he managed to eat normally, and he said no. So, what he did was eat a nice meal before they met up. He also said that he felt pretty bad for eating so much, and that he would never want to eat infront of someone again. His point was, why do we feel bad for eating infront of people who we dont know? People put a lot of value on first impressions, so, why eat a whole pizza by yourself infront of a woman you dont know? Its better to just eat before.
