I stole 2-3 packs of gum every day from a 7-11 so I could afford to buy the Macbook Air I use everyday

I didn’t work in high school but was saving up to buy a Macbook air for college. It was a ~$1000 model at the time (new and I wanted it specifically)<br><br>I didn’t have any money and didn’t have a job, and got tired of saving up nothing each week. So I decided to shoplift packs of gum (each 3$ a pack) so I could save up faster. I did this each day for more than a year. I never got caught and saved up enough to buy the MBA. I still use it everyday to do my work. I have since stopped shoplifting anything since my college days and have been quite fortunate since. I am now a remote software engineer. I feel bad anytime I see a 7-11.
