Don't go into your 30s with unfinished business in your 20s. Make your mistakes now, not later.

A former friend of mine is a perfect example of this. She graduated high school, got a degree, married her HS sweetheart, and had a kid by 25. By 35, she had become an alcoholic, started having an affair with a much younger man at work, got pregnant with his kid (she lost it), got a divorce, and her ex got sole custody of their kid.

She just went through a massive crisis in her 30s because of all the things she didn't do in her 20s. She's now in her 40s and in an abusive relationship because she's trying to fill the void of everything she didn't do.

If you're still in your 20s, travel, explore different careers, have fun, go on some bad dates, make mistakes, and date the wrong people. The earlier you make these mistakes, the better off you'll be in the long run. You can't go back to your 20s ever, but you can carry on these mistakes forever.
