I lied to my sister when she was little about my actual haircut and it still makes me smile to this day.

I got my haircut as a child and they did a very nice job. My little sister asked about it and I said "it's because I gave him the secret code" and she said, "What's the code?" I said, "you say the magic phrase. My mom told me about it because she knows him." My sister said, "please tell me, my haircut is too long." I remember being overcome with this dark evil energy and I said "no I'm not allowed to tell you. My mom said I'm not allowed to tell you." She was so convinced that it actually worked that she decided my mom would tell her about it when she grew up. <br><br>And as an adult she went to the same barber and told him the whole story. He was amused by it.
