It's okay to outgrow friendships and relationships

My mom would always tell me "friends are friends no matter what, the good ones will always be good" and that's just not true.
If you grow as a person and go through a big change, or if you move to a new location (and especially if you do both), you will probably find that you outgrow friendships. It might be a painful thing to go through, it might feel lonely and you might go through a lot of self-doubt but it's normal.
The same thing applies to romantic relationships or familial relationships, and its okay to move on and start new. That's life.

EDIT: I think this got posted in the wrong sub. It's not a life PRO-tip. It's a life IS-tip or life understanding tip. I get that this is not a clever tip that will improve your life in a few hours or days or weeks, but I hope that it will improve your understanding of the world and society, and cut out the pain of a relationship.
