My wife just told me she was going to wipe down the fridge and freezer, I told her to just go ahead and pull the condenser coils out and give them a really good cleaning. She told me to stop pretending like I know what I’m talking about and I said that that was some good advice.

Edit because it’s getting a lot of attention: 1) Don’t pull all the way out, just enough to be able to get a vacuum in there and suck it out. <br>2) If you have the ability to move it at least 6 inches away from the wall so that you can get the back, you are golden. <br><br>Also to those saying, “you should be doing it, not your wife” you are right, and I should be doing it because in my house I’m the one who does 100% of all maintenance. What I did do was go to the handy dandy youtube videos and take the advice of a fellow random person in the hope that it would act in the best interest of my home.
