Being very direct and to the point is incredibly effective and surprisingly hard to do.

I spent most of my life being very chatty and avoiding what I want to say because I didn't want to offend anyone. Over the last few years, I've worked hard to be more to the point. It is surprisingly hard to just stick to the point. With practice, I'm way better at it, and it has made a huge difference.<br><br>Edit: I want to make sure people are not mistaking "be more to the point" with "be rude" or "interrupt people" or "be blunt". That is not what this post is about.
