Never pay with your debit card until you find out whether a store/shopping center requires a picture ID along with it. You could get banned from places you shop at frequently if you refuse to show it to them.

I once was banned from a Kroger for refusing to show my driver's license. I gave them my social security Number (Redacted) XXX-XX-5253 to show I was serious. Once you pay with your debit card, they have your bank information; therefore, they don't need to know your driver's license number. I wonder how many people are banned from places they shop at regularly for not giving their information.
