I broke into a soon-to-be-opened liquor store at midnight after taking a DUI and crappy lawyer I had made me pay 3500$ to only be charged with public endangerment. I stole over 4000$

I got a dui about 3 years ago with a BAC of .22. I hired a lawyer and paid him 3500$ to hopefully get it dropped but the best he could do was public endangerment. The dui in my country only gives fines so it wasn’t so bad. Along with that I had to pay a lawyer who pretty much took my money and did nothing. A few months passed and stores were going up in one of our new developments. I was just walking by and noticed a liquor store that was being built. I looked through the open windows and found an open door on the side. It was wide open. They had no alarm system and no cameras. I looked around the area and stores surrounding the liquor store and none of them were open. I walked in and practically stole a liquor store. I only took bottles and nothing else. I stole over 4000 worth of alcohol. My friends and I drank some and sold some. My lawyer would’ve been proud of the defense I could’ve made for myself I guess.
