I stole thousands of dollars in armor from the Us army to be more comfortable

I was deployed with the us army to iraq in 2006, i armor for being overweight, so i stole hundreds of ceramic plates from the armor sets we were supposed to send back to the states and then i used what was left over to build a blast blanket for the bottom of our HMMWV. The armor for being overweight was shitty and we all knew we were going to be fighting insurgents that tossed armor piercing bombs. <br><br>Our HMMWV was hit and the blast blanket helped save one guys foot, it was still fucked up but he would have lost it if it werent for the blankent.<br><br>Edit: wow didnt think this would get so many upvotes, thanks guys. Also, please dont think of the army negatively, the armor we were given for being overweight was from 1989 and just didnt fit right. All the guys and gals i served with are heros and i wouldnt trade my time in the military for anything.
