I sold my daughter’s iPad for £60

I had an argument with my 9 year old daughter. The cause of the argument is irrelevant but it ended with me taking her iPad off her for a punishment and her being grounded to her room.<br><br>The ipad was still on my bedside table two days later and I completely forgot about it.<br><br>The argument with her had just stressed me out so much I didn’t want to deal with her, so I stuck the iPad in my bag and took it to the pub with me after work.<br><br>I asked a few people if they wanted it and a guy said £60 and I sold it to him.<br><br>A couple of days later, my daughter was asking for it and of course I had to tell her the truth. I told her that I had sold it and she cried.<br><br>A couple of days later I took her to the apple store and bought her a new one and told her not to tell her mum.<br><br>She was so happy to have a new one but I feel guilty that I just sold it.<br><br>Edit: To people saying I should tell my wife, my daughter asked me not to so I’m just going to respect that.
