I lied about my height on my driver’s license to avoid front seat of the car when I was younger.

Because damn I hated driving my friends to school and having kids hit me in the back of the head all morning trying to get the bus driver’s attention.<br><br>My friends and I always had to be to school 45 minutes before the first bell so we could drop them off in time and we always had to stand in the front row of the bus line.<br><br>I originally got my license when I was 14 because I live in a rural area and most of my friends didn’t have their licenses until the following year. I was the only licensed driver in my group of friends. Then when they turned 14 they decided they didn’t like me driving them anymore.<br><br>So we switched it up.<br><br>My friends would drive me to school while I got to ride in the backseat and have my own row to myself. I got dropped off at the front of the bus line and only had to stand there for 15 minutes.<br><br>It has been a few years now and the kids have stopped complaining about the seating arrangements, so I haven’t had to stand in the bus line for about 4 years now, but hey it was worth the risk of getting a ticket and having my license suspended for a short period of time.<br><br>Edit: I just wanted to add for all the people in the comments that are questioning why I had to get to school 45 minutes early but the bus picks up 15 minutes after I dropped my friends off. <br><br>I live in a valley and the school is across the highway. It is about a 15-20 minute drive between houses in our area for the bus to pick everyone up. I got to school 45 minutes before the first bell so I wouldn’t disrupt class when the bus arrived 15 minutes later.
