I lied to my daughter, I am actually the tooth fairy

I told her that the tooth fairy was quarantining bc of COVID and I was just collecting her teeth and money until she was back doing her job. My daughter just lost another tooth the other day and was showing me the $5 bill she got under her pillow and is so happy. I got a little misty eyed because she’s growing up so fast. She’s so smart, yet she’s still so innocent and I feel bad lying to her.
