I have a caffeine allergy, so I've always been very careful about what I put in my body. Last night, however, I woke up to the worst migraine I have ever had, and on my nightstand I found a Starbucks cup with a note attached that said, "For the morning after."

This caffeine allergy of mine recently led me to start double-checking anything I put in my body, including stuff like pain killer pills and cold medicine.<br><br>Last night, then, I was extremely surprised when I woke up with the worst migraine ever, by far more painful than anything I had previously experienced. I had a pounding headache that made it hard to see straight and put me in such agony that I couldn't even move or call out for help, although I probably could have if I had thought about it.<br><br>The pain was so intense that it was all I was aware of; I couldn't even manage to work out how I had ended up with such a terrible migraine when I was so careful about my caffeine intake. That was, at least, until I found the Starbucks cup on my nightstand with a note attached that read:<br><br>I hope caffeine helps your hangover. - Janette<br><br>My roommate is named Janette, and she knows I have a caffeine allergy. She's always asking me if I want to "live a little" or something like that, even though she knows how bad my allergy is, so it recently crossed my mind that she might have done something with my caffeine allergy in mind. I guess she slipped me some, because when I read the note, her name popped into my mind immediately.<br><br>I still have no idea what happened last night or how I got home. I don't know what she gave me, how she got me to drink it, or what happened between those two things. I don't know if she actually gave me Starbucks or just put the note on an empty cup, either. All I know for sure is that I wasn't in control of my own body and that I woke up to the most painful migraine of my life.<br><br>I just hope she didn't hurt me too badly while I was out.
