I used to go into peoples houses and pretend I was their kid when I was a child.

I was about 9 years old when this happened . I used to go to this neighborhood that I didn’t live in but was familiar with and walk up to random doors and ring the doorbell. I’d say things like “hey mom and dad I’m home “ or “hey what’s up mom and dad”. If they asked me who I was I’d say things like “it’s me Sam, your son, did you forget about me?!”. I even met one lady that was just so taken back by what I said and was taken aback by my boldness and she invited me in. I was so confused and it felt like I was dreaming. I didn’t know what I was doing other than entertaining my 9 year old imagination. I ran when she asked me to get something for her , but it was an overall weird experience that I still think about to this day. I haven’t done it since but I wonder how many people thought about me throughout the years.
