I say that because my dog would eat spiders and spiders would bite my dog. Spiders bites are now a common reason why dogs end up in emergency veterinary clinics, some bites can even be deadly to them. So, next time you see a spider in your home just catch it and put it outside in the garden and let it live its life. They're friends to humans, they protect us from the bugs. You don't want your pets to suffer and die because of them.

Edit: I'm an ER vet, we see a lot of dogs that have eaten spiders that aren't even venomous to animals and it still shows. We had a cat that was looking like it was dying. Justinventory found a spider web in its mouth, we removed it, removed the sting and it was all okay. It's not only the venom that can hurt them, it's the puncture itself.

Edit 2: I see a lot of people suggesting squishing the spiders. Don't do that. If you can't see the point of removing it alive and can't even be bothered to squish it, at least just remove it, don't try to squish it and end up leaving the pieces somewhere.

Edit 3: I see now that there are people who don't want spiders in their homes and leave them there out of love and don't end up squishing them. So please, if you really hate spiders, stop asking people to just leave them there.
