I lied to my friends and family to get a cheap plane ticket

I’m a college student and I travel quite often to see my girl, family or friends. I avoid expensive flights at all costs, so, I always book my flights on Saturday to Sunday or Friday to Sunday (the cheapest days to fly, I don’t know why).<br><br>My point is, my GF goes to school in Miami, and I usually go there once a month to visit her. I got a Saturday to Sunday flight to Miami and my trip was great, but, as Monday was approaching, I was sad because I had to leave, and I told my GF that she should visit me for the next weekend, as I really missed her and I couldn’t spend that much time away from her (it had only been a week since we last saw each other).<br><br>She actually agreed and told me that she also missed me a lot, so we agreed that she would come on Saturday and leave on Sunday. Fast forward to the next week, and we had a really fun weekend, and I felt complete and I said “why can’t we be together all the time?”, and she said “yeah, why cant we?”. I asked her and she had a free pass to skip school, so she took it, and she stayed with me. She had to leave on Sunday because of another thing, so that’s what I told her, and she said “I have to leave on Sunday anyway because you’re gonna fly to Miami next week.”, and I didn’t have the heart to tell her that we could actually spend more time together if I just stayed home.<br><br>So I told her that she was right, and that I had to fly to Miami (which I actually did), and she said “oh, so we’re gonna spend the weekend together each week, right?”. I didn’t want to tell her that I actually wasn’t gonna fly to Miami if she wasn’t gonna be there, so I just said “yeah, we’re gonna spent the weekend together each week”.<br><br>I still do it. And I lie to her every week. Some weeks it’s true, because I live in Puerto Rico, and sometimes I fly to Miami, but some weeks I don’t. I just lie to her and I say that I’m gonna fly to Miami while she stays home, and we only see each other in the weekends.<br><br>Sometimes I tell her details, like “oh, I’m gonna fly to Miami next week, but I’m not gonna arrive until Thursday, so I won’t see you until then.”, and she says “ok, so we’re gonna see each other next Thursday, Friday and Saturday?”, and I just reply yes. I live in a small island, and I only pay like 60 bucks to fly to Miami, so I guess it’s worth it for me to pay that each month to be able to see her every weekend.<br><br>I feel terrible about it, but I don’t wanna lose her, and I feel like if she finds out that I actually have been lying to her for the past months, she’s gonna leave me.
