I’m a girl (white) and took a lyft ride with a middle aged man (Indian). He seemed nice enough and talked about how he was traveling because his son had gotten a scholarship to a good university and was excited about it. He mentioned he was married, and that his wife had bit his ankles when they had first met as a joke, then said I should do that to my future husband. He was being friendly and I didn’t even think of it as a come on. After we got to my stop and I left, he messaged me saying some racist shit about how he wanted to make love with a white girl and all this creepy stuff. I wasvlike wtf this guy just told me about his son and wife...

Then he started sending me pictures of his dick and he even had the nerve to send me a pic of his wallet being atleast 3-4 thousand in cash. I wasn’t even broke or anything but I just decided I was gonna take his money. I texted him pretending to be into him and told him I wanted to make love too but only if he spoiled me and I wanted money. He told me what city he was staying at in a hotel and said he would send more pics but only if I sent him more pics of me. I sent him some pics but none were nudes.

I decided I was gonna meet him and take his money. So I met him at his hotel and he was being super nice and asking me about my life and telling me about his life. He was genuinely nice and I started to feel bad but something about him just telling me about his life amplified how much of a creep I thought he was for hitting on me.

I still went through with it and he showed me his wallet with all the cash, I took out 500$ and he didn’t say anything. I took the key to his hotel room and he drove me to a mall to buy clothes. I didn’t spend a single dollar on clothes, but he bought me some gold jewelry that was around 300$. I told him he didn’t have to buy me stuff and I was happy with just the cash and the nice meal he was gonna take me to. I told him I wanted to go to his hotel and watch a movie and get cozy with him.

So he was caressing my hair and talking to me about random stuff and I listened and just let him do it even though I didn’t like it. Then I told him I wanted to go to the restroom, so I went in and called the front desk from the hotel phone and said I was being held hostage and I need them to call the police when I give the signal. I came out and he was still talking to me about his life and his son and wife. I started talking to him about my life and he was being attentive and genuinely listening. I got up and told him I was gonna order some room service and told him to check the fridge to see if there were waters or snacks.

I called the front desk and told them to call the police because I was being held hostage. I sat down next to him and he showed me the snacks and started to talk about something, then I heard the police knock on the door. I got up and let them in, and they asked me if I was safe and I told them I wasn’t safe and they asked me if I needed any medical help. I told them no and they asked me what happened and I told them I met him on Lyft and he wasn’t supposed to hit on me and how he was creepy. They told me they would look into it and I left.

I never heard back from him and never got in trouble. I always remember this whenever someone talks about how all cops are good. I associated inians with being deceitful for years after that which is messed up and I’m glad I don’t think that way anymore.
