i broke a guy’s leg over a cat.

When i was in middle school, a new family moved next door to us. They had a daughter my age that i will call amy. Amy and i became close friends. We spent a lot of time in my front yard. Amy would sometimes bring over a cat, mittens, to play with us. There was a kid that lived across the street, let’s call him tommy. Tommy was not a good kid. He was known to bully smaller kids. He was much bigger than us. One day he decided to pick on amy. He started teasing her about mittens. He picked mittens up, and held her by a leg, and threw her across the street. Mittens,only a few months old at the time, screamed. <br><br>Amy was so upset. she started to cry. I picked up the little cat, and saw she was limping, but otherwise seemed fine. Amy was terrified. She didn’t want tommy to see mittens again. I came up with the idea to get back at tommy, and take mittens through my front storm door into my front yard. At some point tommy was standing near the door, and i opened it, and it knocked him to the ground. He screamed he fell so hard. We came out and found he had broke his leg. We spent the rest of the day with mittens in my front yard, while amy’s parents took tommy to the hospital. <br><br>Amy and her parents never forgave me. I think they were mad because tommy, who was much bigger than me, said he was going to beat me up. I still feel bad about the whole thing. The injury wasn’t worth the stress it caused.
