I stole my mother’s wedding ring

This was basically a dumb mistake on my part that I’ve never admitted to my parents for years. <br><br>When my mother and father got married back in 2000, my mom received this beautiful wedding ring. My parents are very happy even to this day. I think it’s one of those relationships that will last even after death. Anyway. I was visiting with my parents for Spring Break when I was in college. I don’t know why but I saw the ring sitting in a jewel case on my mom’s dresser. For some reason I just decided to pocket it and bring it back to college with me. I think after a week of having it, I realized I probably couldn’t return it because my mom would be upset I took it in the first place. But I also couldn’t just give it back then because it would seem like I was trying to deceive my mom for some dumb reason. <br><br>I basically just have it sitting in a drawer somewhere in my room. I should probably give it back but I don’t even know how I would. Just wanted to get it off my chest here.
