Dead people are never actually dead in TV shows or movies.

Whenever a main character dies, they always miraculously come back. Examples: Jon Snow in game of thrones, Dwight from The Office, Captain America in marvel, Superman, the list goes on... Why bother killing them off in the first place if you just bring them back a year later?
