Tony Soprano died at the end of the show

He didn't die in the final episode, he died at the end of the show period.<br><br>He was killed by live gun fire in the last episode, and the final shot of the show was of the bullet, traveling through the air. As the audience we witness that bullet hitting live in real time as the final shot.
